Single main motor quadcopter

Quadcopters are ever more popular, but they have a short flight time, measured in minutes, nor are they easily scalable to bigger payloads. Idea is to build a prototype of a single main engine quadcopter that in the future can be upgraded to use an internal combustion engine as the main engine.

Knowledge needed to team: C++/arduino programmers, electronics specialist, drone enthusiast.
